DATE & NUT ENERGY BITES

Ingredients:

  • Dates
  • Assorted nuts
  • Pinch of sea salt and Cinnamon
  • Vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Add the dates and vanilla extract to the food processer jar and blend it till they get soft and form a ball. Make sure to use pitted dates. Also if your dates appear too dry , add couple tablespoons of water to help make it grind easier.
  • Add the nuts in the food processor jar. Add pinch of salt and cinnamon powder in the jar. Blend it to desired level of texture.
  • Nuts release oil while grinding which we use to knead the balls.
  • Now mix in the dates and nuts mixture together. It should for a sticky dough. Use your hands or mix it with spatula.
  • Scoop out about 1 tablespoons of the mixture into your hands and roll them into a small bite size balls. You can also use small cookie scoop.
