OATS CARROT PUTTU

Puttu is a traditional steamed dish made with layers of flour and coconut. This version combines oats and carrots, making it a fiber-rich, wholesome breakfast option

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Instructions

  • Dry roast the oats for 3-4 minutes and grind them into a coarse powder.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine oats, grated carrot, and salt. Sprinkle water
    until the mixture becomes crumbly.
  • Layer the puttu maker with grated coconut at the bottom, then the oats
    mixture. Steam for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot with banana or curry of your choice
