PANAKAM

Panakam is a Sanskrit word that translates to a “sweet drink”. It helps with digestion, immunity and cools the body

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons grated jaggery
  • 2 cups water
  • Pinch of cardamom powder
  • Pinch of dry ginger powder
  • Pinch of coarsely ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Boil the water.
  • Mix jaggery in the water and stir until it dissolves completely.
  • Add cardamom powder, dry ginger powder, and crushed pepper, then let it boil.
  • If you prefer lemon, you can squeeze a few drops.
